Here are the dimensions of the Lorraine TV Stand:

• Overall: 54” W x 32” H x 15.5” D

• Shelf: 7.7” H x 22.1” W x 13.08” D

• Cabinet Interior: 15.5” D

Its base is 15.5″ L x 54″ W which stacks up well with other stands, but it’s not in the way and doesn’t take up too much space.

The height of this stand is set at 32″ which is sneaky tall. Most people are pleasantly surprised at how tall it actually is.

There are some reviews found on the internet with people reporting that the TV stand is wobbly after assembly is complete.

But having assembled this TV stand a number of times, the wobbliness can be attributed to the bottom 8 screws that secure the base not being fully tightened.

In the assembly video found below, you can see these 8 bottom screws being attached at the 01:00 minute mark.

Tip to Ensure Sturdiness:

• Use a power drill on the lowest setting to tighten the 8 screws at the base of the TV stand in order to secure the console and eliminate any wobbliness.

• If you don’t have a power drill, or you’re not comfortable using one, then you must be extremely intentional in firmly tightening the 8 base screws.

Additionally, the metal rail for the sliding doors seemed rugged enough to be used on a daily basis without having to worry about it loosening, or worse, falling off. And this wasn’t mentioned in any of the reviews.

In many cases one person can assemble it by themselves so long they are patient, take their time with each step, and are careful throughout the process.

The rollers on the barn doors are pre-installed and are easy enough to place on the metal rail. The screws for the bottom track guide may need to be loosened and properly placed in the track located at the base of the TV stand.

The best option for smooth floors is to utilize the pre-installed sliders under the base in order to move the TV stand around the room whenever it’s needed.

Alternatively, for rugged floors, you can partially lift each of the four corners of the TV stand one at a time in order to place a moving blanket underneath the TV stand in order to slide the stand.

  If you aren’t careful (children in particular) you can jam your fingers between the sliding doors and the left/right end panels of the TV stand.
